This time we're both going!!!

Hello Friends and Family,


Last summer Amy embarked on an adventure to Burundi, Africa to serve at the Love Burundi Festival with Andrew and Wendy Palau. It was so amazing to see the Lord use Amy to serve not only the people of Burundi, but the other team members as well.

When Amy returned to her family, we were sure glad to have her back! The first thing I heard her say was, “Next time, we’re both going!” Of course, I was hoping all along that we could serve together. Here’s our chance.


The Palau team will be going to Haiti and we will be going with them. While in Haiti, we will be working with an eye doctor to provide a free eyeglass clinic. For some Haitians, this will be their first pair of glasses. Having a correct prescription will enable them to find work, read and provide for their families. But more importantly, each person that comes to the clinic will be prayed for and will hear the Gospel. When Amy was in Burundi last August, the eyeglass clinic blessed whole communities and many lives were touched. We hope and trust that God will use the eyeglass clinic in Haiti to make a huge impact!

We will be in various parts of Port au Prince. At each site and location, we’re working with and through the local church. So, not only will we be able to minister to those outside of the church, but we’ll also have the opportunity to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Haitian church.
The trip will finish with the Fun in the Son Festival, where Andrew will be sharing the Gospel in front of thousands.

Prayer Requests:
- For Feliesha and Caleb as we leave for the week
- For Mike’s mom to have the energy to keep up with both kids!
- Health and safety for us and the team as we travel in Haiti
- That many thousands would come to Christ and receive His love
- That we would bless those who come to the clinics

We are also seeking to raise support for our trip. Our trip costs include airfare, food, lodging and in-country transportation, which will total around $4,000 for the two of us. Please consider joining us in prayer and support as we go with the Palau team to bring hope to the beautiful nation of Haiti.
